@ohnoo_not_her Don’t worry, there will be plenty more opportunities shortly to do something similar, but in a more structured way, with each person being notified that they are responsible for the task they have shown interest in.
This was a bit of an experiment to see how feasible it is for more than one person to work on something at the same time, so Andy and I just got on with it, lol.

So you understand that we Icelanders are a little bit crazy, I added my favorite volcano image. No Photoshop, nothing changed, just normal. It is more fun to have popcorn and watch a movie than look out the window at the volcano ;)

I posted a reel earlier today and it has around 1600 views so far. Here's the location breakdown:
South Africa (11.7%)
Kenya (9.2%)
Morocco (7.2%)
Nigeria (6.8%)
.
.
.
United Arab Emirates (5.1%)
etc.
If you recall, I live in the UAE. You may argue that countries like Morocco can be considered within my region since the Middle East and North Africa tend to be lumped together sometimes (MENA), but South Africa, for example, is definitely out of bounds.

My best-performing video has 4329 views and the locations are Indonesia, Germany, France, the UK, Vietnam, Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Italy.
Yesterday's top video got 790 views, of which 78.5% were from the UK, but interestingly, 1% from the US, the first time I have ever seen that!
And annoyingly, I got 102 likes but no new followers, lol.
Safe to say, the entire platform is a mystery in many ways!
@diane I only get a few followers when creating new content, but to get people following you back, it goes quicker when you scroll below to 'who to follow', when you then see that you have 'mutual friends' with someone, just follow them, (I did a whole bunch per day, there's a limit), and lots of will follow you back.
I wait a week or so, and the ones that dont follow back, I unfollow. That was the quickest way to get to a 1000 followers to place my link:-)

When I was tiktokking in germany, yeah I got a lot more views from germany lol, true
But in the end, if you get very popular, I suppose that your views will be from all over the world.

Did you not see any impact on your profile visibility? Some people say that doing so puts you at a risk of a shadow ban.
If it didn't have any negative impact, I might start doing that just to give myself an early push.

I do have less views then before, that's true, but for me it was the visible link to my site which was important
