Traffic is way more volatile on FB than it is on Pinterest, but even with it’s spikes it’s bringing in decent traffic overall. I need to find time to create several other Facebook pages and cross post, but we’ll see when this happens. Just gotta keep trying things!
thats a nice spke Andy! Yes, they are very come-and-go; it was less in May than April for me, but when there’s spikes, it’s totally worth it! How is your Pinterest by the way? my traffic from there is very volatile these days, and overall gone down since a few months. It’s hard to keep posting good AI pictures to it,and the regular ones don’t pick up anymore, that’s tough.
Yeah, multiple facebook pages is a good idea, going to do that too and automate one, done by PIB. from there, I’ll build more when I get the income coming in. And have a new site build for it.
Did you ever get that website into mediavine by the way, the one you were talking about the other day? I don’t know anymore these days where to apply if a new site would grow through facebook and AI.
Yeah, we’re close to averaging ~2-3K outbound clicks now per day actually, and are on track to hit 100K total outbound clicks for May. Super excited!
Pinterest has been pretty stable for us - that is still where we generate the most traffic. There is almost always a slight dip during this time of the year for most sites, though it has been more volatile this year than others. Definitely a few algorithm changes that shook things up.
AI images/actual pins are just half of the strategy - the other half is actually have a good title and description (and having proper keywords in them as well). Most accounts I’ve looked at are usually lacking in the actual strategy part. I’m working on some tools that are hopefully going to help with some of these issues. The main thing is that, unless you know (and really know) what you are doing on Pinterest, then it’s not something that you can easily automate. I don’t know if you are using BlogtoPin still, but there is a reason why the highest person on the leaderboard isn’t even at 200K outbound clicks (i.e. the automated strategy that he’s using just doesn’t work well to actually be able to take you to the traffic highs that people can see on Pinterest). But I digress.
I have one that’s currently applied to Journey, though it’s still being reviewed. I have another that is on Journey that has the traffic stats for Mediavine, but I’m waiting for some programmatic SEO to rank (Lord-willing), so that I have a little more traffic per month and then I’ll apply. I’ve been rejected by Raptive twice though, which tells you the likelihood of gettting accepted to Mediavine, lol.
yeah, so thats what I’m afraid of, creating a new site, doing all the effort on facebook, publishing AI content, and then not being able to apply for some good advertisers, or better said, not getting accepted. adsense is so low, maybe monumetrics, and Ezoic is off the table, unless you have a lot of traffic. Some influencers make it seem easy, but I don’t think it is anymore. But can be worth trying for content monetization anyway on Facebook itself, we’ll see. thanks!
