@ohnoo_not_her π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
Where do I start with ALL this? π€£π€£π€£
Have I heard of Niche Site Lady?
No, apart from I've heard you mention her a few times to me recently, so will go and check her out.
Investment for SEO?
Yep, 100%, do you want to know what my monthly expenses are for my main two websites?
Approx. $10,000 - $12,000 PER MONTH (obviously, it's taken me a lot of years to build up to that level, but I realised that while "just writing quality content to rank in Google" worked really well for a number of years, being solely reliant on one form of traffic could wipe out your entire income overnight... and I've been there before).
If you're still believing that you can do SEO successfully WITHOUT spending a penny you're still living off 2008 SEO
Your "Wacky Affiliate" Statements ππππ
Look, I really don't know what to say... I promised myself I wouldn't "slag the platform off", but I am finding it increasingly difficult π€£π€£π€£π€£ (especialy when people here have asked me to go and check things written or said by "experts" recently, suffice to say, I'm appalled)
I will eventually ONE DAY write a REAL Wealthy Affiliate Review, with PROOF, facts and figures, etc.
Here's one for free:
The "best affiliate marketing platform in the world" has only ever seen approx. LESS THAN 40 people EVER qualify for Vegas (out of nearly 3,000,000 members during that time, whereby probably AT LEAST 30% of those members have promoted WA <--- this will denied by the owners, although it's always nice to see their friends in Vegas photos who AREN'T WA members, plus, quite clearly 10,000 people qualify for Vegas a year, but can't be bothered to go on a luxury, all-paid for trip to Vegas, which is why there's only the same 5-6 people in the photos EVERY YEAR!! If that's the "BEST", I'll stick with the WORST thanks very much!! ππ)
"I ranking on page 500 of Google after 7 years as a member, the training WORKS!!!" (go on, how many of hate me now??? π€£π€£π€£)
(and don't get me started on "quality content" and "the best AI writer in the world" ACCORDING TO WHO??????????????? π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£)
Pinterest & Other Forms of Traffic?
YUP, 100%.
Realistically, the way to look at SEO in 2024 is to decide whether you prefer writing or creating videos (better, if you do both).
Pick FIVE Sources of Traffic from
- Organic Search
- YouTube
- Facebook
- Pinterest
- TikTok
- Instagram
- Medium
- Linkedin
- Web 2.0 article syndication
- PPC (including social media PPC)
- Forum/Question & Answer Website Marketing
Hit THREE of them REALLY HARD and regularly publish/share to the other two.
Are you starting to see how building a business and a brand completely on your own WITHOUT spending any additional money is REALLY DIFFICULT?
What we have been doing for many years, and what is still being taught in some circles, is to solely concentrate on the first, organic traffic.
Google has said for years NOT to do this, and yet we all do, realistically you are ALL Blackhat Marketers π€£π€£π€£π€£ Well, you're doing what Google told you NOT to do (me included, lol)!!
If you think about it, most affiliate sites and most ad revenue sites are solely created to rank in Google and earn commissions on products that usually the author knows nothihg about.
THIS IS WHY AFFILAITE AND AD REVENUE SITES WERE THE WORST HIT SITES OVER THE LAST 10 MONTHS
It's not that "affiliate marketing is dead" or "informational sites are dead", it's simply that it's OBVIOUS what is going on here.
If you think about it, most businesses are created to MAKE SOMEONE'S LIFE EASIER, money comes second, that's where "passion" comes into this.
You can even look at Steve Jobs and the iPhone.
The idea wasn't to "make loads of money" (that was a by-product), the idea was to make people's lives easier by having a phone, a computer, and a music player ALL IN ONE.
That is the "secret" to any business, online or offline, ask yourself "how can I make people lives (in my niche) easier?"
Where is the PASSION people?
Where is the WANT to HELP OTHERS?
I could go one forever, but I won't, lol!!
