Hi Mel! I remember your name from WA, nice to see a familiar name! I am no longer on that platform though, first I got silence banned, and then after that, it wasn't very interesting any longer, in my opinion. Still a great platform for beginners, but other then that,not worth the price for me.

Oh I’m (Kida) here Mel . 😂 Here and at WA and on my second degree in college. I did graduate though this year. May 9, 2025. Now I’m going back for business administration and graduate with that in 2026. 🙄 Although it was supposed to of been this year. Long story, anyway welcome to the cafe!

Anyway, Frank, to answer your question, I am always drumming, mentally, yet have put that on the back burner for now. As to the guitar recommendation, if you have the link, please resend. I searched and could not locate it. Don't recall if it was in my WA messages or not...if that was the case, then I don't have it...
Last night, my friend and i saw Melissa Etheridge in concert, and man, her shredding inspired me to pick up the guitar again.

Although, they're in the "starter" guitar range, they're made and play incredibly well for the price. Lots of pro players use them onstage. I have a Squire Strat neck sitting around, somewhere in my guitar workshop. I'll have to build a guitar body for it, someday.

I hope your summer is going well. I've been having way too much fun, but incredibly, I've still managed to loose a little weight with extra exercise and a little attention to dietary intake - curtesy of my wife, on all counts. Lol 😎
