Not satisfied with stealing everyone’s content and regurgitating it into AI overviews, Google now appears to be filling the entire ‘above the fold’ area with the overview.
Probably a test but I have noticed this over the last few days. It seems the little guy (and gal) is getting pushed away from the top of the page more and more!
On the plus side, I’ve found some parasite hosts are relatively easy to get cited in the overview but you do need to be either at #1 or #2 for any meaningful traffic.
The way things are going I might just take up hacking and be done with it … lol
