Of course, this is very early days, like anything online, it's a long-term strategy.
But let's see how I am doing.

Obviously, it's not a huge amount of income, but digital images are priced very low as there are not really any production costs and no postage, of course!
Importantly, I am really enjoying the process, and intend to stick with this.
Feel free to take a look at my shop, I am not expecting you to buy anything, lol.

I will continue to keep you updated, happy to answer any questions.
And you are making a fine job out of mine : https://www.etsy.com/shop/EverythingVerySmall , love it!
Mines very new, and already have 4 sales, although I think it comes from promotion through my newsletter lol. And as you said, the more files you have on your store, the more keywords will be there, also for Google, actually. Because in my niche, Google still ranks Etsy high for a lot of keywords, so I hope to have this new ball rolling soon. Selling digital products does cost a lot of energy at the start, but once its up, it's up, no worries about shipping and such. Only get it out there and promotion.
ANd it will be a great addition to the branding of my site. I just need Andy to give it a prominent place on my homepage as well hahahahaha 🤣 And I have work to do on promoting my store on every post where I talked about printables, ugh. My brain is a bit sluggish after a Covid infection at the moment, but as a famous actor said: I'll be back {blue}:sweaty:
think of it in Google's terms - Impressions and Clicks.

That's pretty good impression to clicks ratio, isn't it? I have a printables shop that I haven't put on Etsy becauase it's planners/coloring pages, etc, and seems like etsy is heavily saturated. You both seem to be selling very niche-specific printables. I looked a bit into it a while ago, but never made the jump. I'll have to look into this again some more.

yeay, but even very niche specific can have lots of competition, but I could have Di put thousands of files on there even still with dollhouse floors (tiles, wood..), wall art, book covers, rugs, etc. Endless and lifetime possibilities. I really do think that quantity (besides quality) here in digital prints can be a big factor, because you get lots more keywords in Etsy search. Could be wrong :-)
@andy Yes, I'm happy with the impression to clicks ratio, but not the conversion rate, lol.
I have now started running ads, so I can get some data as to which keywords Etsy thinks are appropriate to my listings.
Most Etsy niches are competitive unless you have something really unique, but you can run ads from day one, to get views, clicks, and sales, and rank higher in Etsy's algorithm.
And there is no limit as to the number of listings you can add - hundreds per day if you want!
