I don't think I'll be using AI images for my Africa niche

My pinterest account is growing nicely because of AI images, but here comes the BUT!

I am receiving daily messages from people like "fake", "AI", "deceptive", and that is highly unusual on Pinterest to even give comments!

Why do I care about this? Because I know that people in my niche will definitely report these as spam,and this endangers my account,as I got banned on Reddit as well for placing 1 AI image!

I do hope that Pinterest will remain smart about this, and from now on I will always insert this "image is only for illustration purpose", but it would take me weeks to edit my older AI pins with this message, lots of them I can't even edit (I don't know why I can't edit some of them?)

So, for my Africa niche, I am not going to use AI pictures at all, I wouldn't want to see AI pictures of elephants or birds either, sorry Diane, your AI pictures are gorgeous, but I have chosen 2 niches where this is 'not done' without making the crowd upset about it (darn snowflakes lol)

I do hope that Pinterest will be sensible about this though, sigh

Oh, that's interesting!

I have created thousands of AI pins across multiple niches without any problems, it's not against their guidelines.

If somebody reports you, they have to pick from the following list, none of which seem appropriate.

Oh well, at least your Africa niche has tons of "real" images and videos available!

@diane Yes I noticed those possibilities as well and wouldn't think any appropriate, so I do hope interest is more flexible on this and probably won't ban me, but Reddit surely did, not straight up, but then after all the reports on my one AI image, Reddit probably got a warning somehow to check out my account and subreddit.

Did you know I hate Reddit hahaha!

Yes, plenty of Africa related images and vids or sure:-)

@ohnoo_not_her Tell them snowflakes to go melt somewhere else. Jeez! Especially if it’s obvious your pics are Ai and you just want people to see the beauty of Africas Animals without having to run down to the Safari yourself and take a snap. Glad everything is working out with Pinterest. Even with the bot audience.
