@yusuf well to be fair ... I've only ranted about WA a couple of times. I'm consciously trying to avoid the WA rant to be honest. It's just negative energy.

Yeah ... free account. I only re-signed up to try and get in touch with Partha because I discovered he was leaving WA.
The only reason I stayed with WA for so long was because I wanted to keep up with what Partha was posting on there - Kyle's burblings rarely interested me.
I learned more from Partha in 8 months or so than WA could have ever taught me. In fact I only saw success ranking pages on Google after using Partha's methods. Jaaxy keyword research was just a massive fail.

Same here. When I started WA was very helpful for me though. I'm slowly writing a review on Medium when I can't sleep late at night, just need to get it off my chest, even if no one would read it, don't care haha.

Because that is NOT my dream, at all, this forum was never intended as either/or, and I have no intention of wanting people to leave WA, whatsoever.
No matter what I think, WA is decent for those will absolutely NO knowledge of how to get a website online (I would say that's about ALL they offer 🤣🤣🤣 although, I will give Vitaliy, Tim, and Eric their props... and even Jay to some extent, but he has to "back up his mate" and therefore is quite often "Corporate Jay", but I can guarantee in the background he may occasionally say to Kyle (actually probably on a daily basis 🤣🤣🤣 ), "No, you can't say that, that hasn't been true for about 15 years now!!!!")
So, for those COMPLETELY new to this industry who need a little "hand-holding" WA is great to GET YOU STARTED.
Plus, if people are enjoying WA, then I'm happy for them, honestly, I mean it, I really am.
My main issue has always been when people come to me for help, I almost have to completely change their way of thinking first, that is hard ON ME!!!
It's almost as though I have to say, "Completely forget EVERYTHING you've learned over the last few years, this is what you need to do" <---- that is bloody frustrating, especially when you've spent a few years, doing this with about 10 people a week, completely for FREE!!!
Anyway, my point, no I don't want anyone to leave WA, if you enjoy it, carry on...
I get notified when Partha posts because I find what he posts to be concise (I KNOW!!!), insightful, and most importantly actionable. I followed him to DMC and have been SO grateful to be here - I feel as if I have learned from DMC in weeks what I have been struggling to learn from WA in months (many months).
It doesn't surprise me that many people who are here from WA are frustrated by WA. And that depending on where they are in their SEO and MMO career, their particular frustrations may be different.
A good bit of the discussion explaining various frustrations with WA I have also found really helpful ... these discussions have helped me understand WHY and HOW particular business models work (or don't work). That's REALLY USEFUL information!
That is the spirit in which I hear these critiques ... and why I value them as an important part of the OPEN conversations we are able to have here. Just saying ... :)

Of course it is.
I saw how you've been telling Jonathan that your helpfulness at WA is the example he should follow in his Reddit endeavour. Now to some people, this may give the impression that you did all that for marketing, just like Jonathan is trying to do.
In other words, it was your plan all along to become the "go-to guy" for many people on WA so you can eventually start selling courses/services to your own community. That may be somewhat true, but I know there's more to it.
1) You have a big ego so it makes you feel good. 🤣
2) You genuinely like to help people.
I have a very good memory. I still remember when you were passionately trying to help an old fellow at WA who was struggling to do the most basic of things. Objectively speaking, it's clear that this man was never going to be a "client" — he wouldn't have even known how to find DMC.
I also remember occasions when you told some people to talk to Site Support (your blood must've been boiling), or helped them with basic things. Unlike Abie and her gang, you weren't doing that to maintain your WA rank, were you?
And this is not the sort of help which would help you establish yourself as an authority on the platform, which leaves only one thing: you're a nice guy!

I have minimal time, so I need to use it to as much benefit as I can.
Part of it has been the limited number of people I read. Sadly, I made the mistake of trusting too much what some people said, and that cost me.
Even so many things were right. And by the way, Jay said 1-2 years ago You need backing, and then I said it! 
Vitaliy is one of my favorites and has been for many years. Short time ago I know about Eric and many things is good, some haven´t work and he never seems to answer in the comments about things like that.
But which Tim do you have in mind? I am burned to I have check a lot but aren´t sure what they say is correct or not and it take me a long time to trust people so…
