I’ve noticed this too. Newer models seem more cautious, so if your prompt leaves room for interpretation, it will “requirements gather” instead of guessing.
Quick fix: tell it not to ask questions and to make reasonable assumptions. Example: “Don’t ask clarifying questions. Draft it now using sensible defaults. List assumptions at the end.”
Another option is “draft first, then ask up to 2 questions for version 2.” That keeps it fast without sacrificing accuracy.
