My site shows up in chatGPT without me suggesting it :-)

I was surprised to see this.

I was checking info on chatGPT for something specific ( imagine dollhouse scenes in a tin can), to write about for my next blog post.

So I was chatting with the AI, to see if it could come up with blogs or social media shares where people talk about it (frankly, Google sucks at this for the moment, I actually get better results in AI)

To my surprise, it came up with my own site! (circled in the text). Usually, I either get totally irrelevant results or results for blogs that haven't blogged for ages, eccomerce sites , etc.

I would think this is a nice evolution for me?

I saw my site in GPT the other day too. Quite satisfying ... especially when I haven't seen my site in Google for bloody ages!

you got that bloody right haha! It's not about "helpful content" at all anymore, every search I do for my niche, just gives me results that suck basically. Still, some of these SEO's keep gaslighting small niches, time to stop paying for their silly 'SEO' courses, they're just scamming at this point. (not that I ever have)
