So, there you have it, hope this has sparked some ideas for you!
Great to follow. Even so I am very unactive here, as on other places, I takes period to see what you are doing. But must admit that the attack of Google 2023 stopped my energy for the sites completely after it started working, very little but steady by steady, after big works.
Good luck all of you and I will come and see how you are doing!
I liked the idea we talked about the other day in private Di :-) . By coïncedence, we went to a special wedding today , and instead of the couple going to church to get married, we all went to the forest, where they had a 'Celtic priest (female)' perform some kind of Celtic ritual to bond the couple and give them 'forces of nature', that was pretty cool to see and beautiful. It was his second wedding, so I guess no more church wedding anyway hahaha. Think it could be succesful on Pinterest something like that. 'witches, nature religion, Celtic rituals, moon , sacred places, etc..)
@ohnoo_not_her Wow, this is strange. Unless their religion talks about sacred groves and other natural shrines What people believe naturally has the most to do with where they get married. Except if they get married at a magistrate’s office which they can do, at least here in Iceland, although it is believed.
The national religion here in Iceland is Protestant but it is possible to get married with a priest even if it is outside, so maybe I am misunderstanding that part.
Protestants come in second, but then the Viking religion is number 3. When people get married, it is not unlike that.
Of course, there are various versions of weddings among us Protestants here in Iceland. For example, I know of women who married themselves in a church in Italy. I hope you don’t run into problems with your relationship if you marry yourself because divorce could be difficult to enforce!
I have also heard of women getting married in white even though they are getting married for the second time. Mine was actually half in white, was divorced, but it works because she was not 100% in white.
Maybe I am misunderstanding this, I was just so surprised when I read this. Because faith matters so much how you do this, also with those who believe that they do not believe.
@ohnoo_not_her That sounds gorgeous I would have loved a wedding like that! Over here we have handfasting ceremonies - during the handfast, the couple will have their hands tied together with ribbons or cords, symbolising their union, binding them into their new future as one.
I am still thinking about the idea I mentioned, and actually found some cool 2 word domains that would work!
@diane exactly what happened yesterday with the handfast and the cords, and then the mom and daughter started to sing in the woods, they have a beautiful voice, it gave me the chills!
aahhh, 2 cool domains, I'd say, go for it with Pinterest! :-)
