[SEO Neo Update] 2 weeks, 3.4 million API tokens and rankings are up :-)

I think it’s working!

After initially vanishing for a day or so, my first target returned stronger and has been steadily rising through a volatile SERP. It’s sitting just below the fold on P1 in Google this morning … woop! So after running the DAS campaign, the target has jumped onto P1 and this is without any targeted anchor text … just the URL as the anchor and sometimes not even linked - just a plain text URL.

The idea with the DAS wizard campaign is to provide a cushion, or pillow of links that act as a base level of generic backlinks. This has the effect of diluting and normalising the anchor text profile as more focused campaigns are run subsequently.

So I’m going to wait until this bad boy settles out (bearing in mind the core update is still going on, as far as I know) and then try a more targeted anchor text campaign to see how high I can push this thing up the SERP … very exciting!

Medium - my 2nd campaign …

Having taken some advice on the Stealth Code Discord server, I decided to select a Medium post with a primary keyword focus that has approx 500 searches a month according to KE. Normally, this is the sort of target with which you’re unlikely to grab a P1 spot by authority piggybacking alone.

The starting position was hovering between 30 - 35 in the SERP.

For the first few days, just a very minimal upward movement … reaching #27 by day 5.

Then day 6 … it jumped 10 places onto P2. Last night it was sitting at #17 and this morning it’s vanished (usually a good sign that G is re-evaluating the link profile). Let’s see what happens!

The campaign is still running (I spread it over 6 days so it’s throttled back a bit) and this is a linking diagram known as the RD100 - the idea being to attempt to point 100 different referring domains to every tier 1 URL.

This has the effect of passing a huge amount of ‘link juice‘ from tier 1 to the target (the money page). As with all these campaigns, I’d be very careful using your main, ‘pride and joy’ website as the target - until you’re very confident with what you’re doing with Neo.

For parasite targets though … just let it rip!

The 3rd camapign … a new parasite I’m testing!

Just set this one up last night after generating 350+ articles and setting up another PV gmail account … lol.

I’ve gone right down the rabbit hole this week. Trying to work out how to acquire 2FA gmail accounts (they work best with Neo) with the App Password already set up.

My conclusion is there’s no easy way. So I grabbed a free SIM card for my old phone, whacked a fiver’s worth of credit on there and set up another gmail account … he he.

I think I can create 4-5 accounts per phone number so that’s doable! The Neo team do recommend using more than one gmail account as platforms slowly take notice and ban the email address from accessing the domain.

So if you have one or two ‘fallback’ gmail accounts, Neo switches to one of those and tries again (with a different proxy server of course). The makers of this thing are proper black hat SEO scientists!

The target for this RD100 campaign is a parasite page which is already on P1 for a lesser keyword but I’m going to try and gain some visibility for a keyword which I know generates converting visitors.

How do I know? … Reddit told me so when I was riding high over the summer with my daily review posts!

Takeways after two weeks testing

SEO Neo works pretty much out of the box - once you’ve set everything up (VPS, proxies, captchas etc). Yes, there’s quite a steep learning curve but for the power this tool gives you, the set up and use is really not that difficult (especially as we have GPT to help us with the technicalities these days).

Both targets I’ve tested have seen significant positive movement - could this be the Google core update? Possibly … but I doubt it.

So it’s into week 3 of proper testing … I might be a bit slower this week since I plan on having at least one day off over Christmas … lol

Any questions, happy to try and answer for you …

Yeah, I ran into the gmail issue earlier, and so didn’t create another gmail account. Didn’t realize it was that hard to bypass 2FA though.

If you need more 2FA gmail accounts, is the plan just to buy a cheap one-time sim plan each time, or have others found out an easier way?

Hey Andy … there is a whole black market in Gmail PVAs. The cheapest I could find was about $1.50 for a fresh account. Prices increase for older accounts. A quick search on Black Hat World reveals plenty of options. I always feel like you have to suspend trust in these providers though!

Gmail will periodically request a further phone verification, especially if you sign in from an IP in a different country. Then, without the actual phone, you’re screwed. Further, you need to create an App Password for Neo which, again, may require further verification.

So it’s much more solid and not much different, cost-wise, to use a free SIM and a minimum credit top up. The cheapest provider I could (quickly) find in the UK was EE - £5 minimum top up. If I get 5 accounts out of that, all good

Then switch the SIM and go again. Lol.

ps - the first gmail account I set up for Neo is still going strong. Maybe 70 - 80% success rate and this is after creating many hundreds of accounts on various platforms. So one gmail is good for many Neo campaigns and the secondary/tertiary backups are used when the primary fails.

Hey all … hope everyone who celebrates had a lovely Christmas day

Just a little window into my boxing day …

The screenshot above shows over a million and a half Open AI API tokens used today. Didn’t cost a cent! … lol

  • 250+ long form blog articles (unique, grammatically sound content)
  • 200 short descriptions (for web 2 profiles and the like)
  • 200 short bios

That’s for tier 1 properties.

Then for tier 2 properties it’s literally old school spun content, slightly updated for the AI era (but not much). I’ve always veered away from spun content but on a Stealth Code webinar of 23rd December, I learned that Google still cannot effectively detect spun content at scale!

I believe the quote was something like

“Hahh ha ha, nah man Google can’t detect that - it’s all just zeros and ones man“

(there may have been more profanity than that - Mike Merlino is a colourful character lol)

… I’ll post the next update soon but rankings are still going up. Seeing a dramatic upward trend on the Medium piece I targeted. Neo seems to be working very well so far!
