A Beginner’s Step-by-Step Playbook for Turning a Facebook Page Into Real Website Traffic and Revenue
I finally had some time to compile some notes about Facebook Page marketing (since someone in another group asked if I could).
Pretty much all I did was had Claude give me a bunch of questions to ask me, I answered the questions, had Claude compile it and fact-check it against two courses I have access to as well as doing a deeper research and seeing what most of the other people are saying as well.
Then, being curious about something, I had Claude build it out into a PDF to make it look nicer (it did a decent job).
I didn’t take out the ‘AI-generated’ aspects of it, so if that is an issue, my apologies. Regardless of that, if anyone who is new wants to get started, I’d recommend starting here.
I’ve also had Claude add an appendix of links for further reading/following different people in the industry.
Good summarization of all the players on the market. Although I don’t think that Niche site Lady is still doing anything with her software or that she has many buyers. As her prices are way to high for what she offers.
Now, PIB is also high price, but the difference here is, that everything he sells, is VERY expanded. I ‘gave in’, under the condition: you have to spend money to make money, and bought his complete bunddle.
As I want to automate things, or even when I have Diane as a VA for a page of mine, I just can’t ever do everything. New blog posts, newsletters, Pinterest , etc, etc.
And oh boy, it will take me weeks to go through everything , and then go through everything AGAIN hahaha. (this is also because of some personal things I’ve been going through, so focussing has been hard, especially in my non-English native language. I had to look up quite some times “what does this word even mean” hahaha. A lot of nerdy talk (nothing against nerds lol).
But I know I will get there some day, knowing persistent me.
The bundlle consists of a playbook to 10k per month with Facebook, wich includes everything and a lot more ( I would go further than just 2-step verification; for example, there has been another wave of stolen pages that got through the 2-step, and have an authenticator app on your pages. Plus make sure that your email adres on your pages are different from the ones you login to your fb accounts ).
The automization I am working at at the moment, but there are so many platforms I need to join to accomplish that, and that will be a montly cost of 100-200 on top, plus upgrading the postplanner.
So you could say that at the moment, I am investing quite some money again, to earn more later on. I hope lol
As I told Diane, Belgium doesnt make it easier on starters either, when I am an independent businnes now, I need to pay 900€ each three months for social security first. So in those months, at the moment I am then just having a net zero - operation. UGH
Anyway, that will go to my pension and all and I can still do this kind of work until I’m 80 or so hahaaha
So every day, I do a little piece of his things in his guides, and I’ll get there in the end. The plus is to, if things changes with the automation or about fb itself, you get updates for life. And you can have free consults to see where you’re at and what things you need to change.
Or if you have any problems with FB (which frankly happens a LOT), they help you out to.
(demonitazitian waves)
Nevermind me, I sound confusing again probably lol
anyway, struggling on! But indeed, nice to see that things can definitely work on FB, if the big boss isn’t messing things up hahaha

Oh, you’ll have to tell me how good it is - I’ve been buying up Andy Skraga’s (Hike Your Likes) courses to train my team on, but haven’t decided if PIB is worth it.
Yeah, making money does take spending some money! I’m currently growing two more FB pages for this niche, as well as just started one for my gardening site. I was also talking with Diane and I might even experiment with growing a FB page for this forum next month if I can get enough cashflow through these other ventures, lol.
Hi Andy, I have enjoyed your Guide and appreciate the detail. Thank you. I am brand new to all of this, you have been so gracious to help. If there is anything I can offer to help, please let me know.
I found out, I have an issue on FB. I had no idea. My personal page was Restricted (Account Restricted) on March 15th of 2021, therefore the page I’ve created for my business is not allowed to create or run ads! Ha…rumf!!! What the heck??? I have NEVER posted malicious content so I don’t understand the “restriction”! As a matter of fact, I rarely post on my personal page. From my research so far, I can not remove the restriction because it has been too long. Any suggestions? I’m not sure how to proceed. Thanks again for all you do for me and the group.
Hi Kate - unfortunately, I have the same problem - not for malicious content, but for previously running ads from a subsequently banned advertiser. Like you, I have no idea where this has come from. In my case, it allegedly relates to selling sunglasses - I have never had any connection to sunglasses! It would be funny if it wasn’t! Believe me, I have tried more times than I can count to get this removed, but no success!
I attempted to set up a new FB page a couple of months ago and didn’t even get past the sign up process before their bots banned me … lol. I think they must have also linked my IP because I tried again on a different machine and same problem.
@andy maybe a little guide on how to not get banned on Facebook would go down well … lol
Oh no! What can I do? I want to drive traffic to my website through Facebook. Should I delete my entire FB account and start a new personal account and subsequent business pages? I’m not afraid of the work, I am just trying to move forward. Like you Diane, I have never posted anything malicious or anything that would get me in the “restricted” zone.
Hi Kate!
How many people are already following you on those pages? My main one has 37k followers, when I only needed to create a few ads at the beginning. Just yesterday, I hit another 2K per day spike from Facebook allone.
This one has always been the one that I put the most work in though, through postplanner.
I have a second page which Diane is managing through postplanner as well, but that one is very hard to grow without using ads, so I am back at them. But of course, that doesnt solve your problem.
Depending on the size of your page, I think you could still try and use mainly the format posts that already give you views. You can check this with Strevio.
If it is reeels, try and create more reeels. At the moment, Facebook is really pushing reeels.
But it depends on the niche, because my first page is thriving on image posts mainly.
So instead of starting a new, you could try to post more ‘winning’ formats, but I do advise to use postplanner, otherwise you will burn out in no time.
For more in depth tips and tricks I think that Andy already placed the links to all the courses out there. Just don’t start automation yet, without growing the page, because , for me at least, it is to complicated, yet, and it will cost you extra.
Every time facebook would say that you did something wrong, even if you think you haven’t, do not ignore it, but dispute it asap!

Is that a complete new one, while you didn’t have anohter still? After I got banned, luckily I could create a new one. But back then, I needed a new laptop anyway, so thats where I did it on.
So is this your page, or your account? If it’s your page, then just create a new one. If it’s your actual FB profile account, then I’d see if you can create a Business profile account (for your actual business) and then link the page to that business account, and run ads through that. I haven’t had any issues running ads, but I also haven’t had too many profile issues. But I’ve always created FB business accounts to run my ads through as well.
I gave up in the end, trying to get my restriction removed. I was continually going around in circles. They did acknowledge what had happened, but no matter where or how I reported it, it unfortunately changed nothing.
Have I got this right? Due to a sunglasses ad being served on your page a long time ago and then later on the advertiser was banned, they restricted your account even though you had no control over that ad being served?
Lol, not quite. My Ads Manager account shows that I created a campaign to run ads to a subsequently banned advertiser. But I didn’t! No money was paid, and it was so many years ago, that there are no dates or stats available.
At that time, I didn’t even know anything about ads, and only used Facebook for personal use and to post news about my husband’s band.
These circumstances don’t fit any of their boxes, so each report I send to get it fixed, just goes round in circles and is then rejected.
