Following what Lizzy posted here, Facebook pages- building for monetization , I’m gearing up to start experimenting with driving traffic to my sites thought FB pages in 2026, as well as seeing what I can make with FB’s content monetization program.
This post is a little scattered, so bear with me as I try to document what I’m doing over the next couple of months/year.
Facebook recently has lowered the bar for pages to join their monetization program. Think of it like Youtube, where when you watch a video, you see an ad or two, and the creator of the video (if they’re monetizing their YT channel with ads) makes a few pennies.
Facebook has something similar - someone watches a real or sticks around long enough on your FB page, then FB will show them more ads. And you collect a certain percentage of that.
The reason this has become an interest to me is because I actually was approved for monetization for one of my pages, and I haven’t even posted anything in nearly a year.
So far, I’ve made a little over $5.
Whoohoo! ![]()
Anyways, I’m more just using this post right now to compile a bunch of links to what I’ve found, since, well, I have them all opened in my tabs, and need to clear them all up, lol.
Free info regarding growing a FB page:
Hasib Alic is the cofounder of Strevio, a “tool for bloggers and media publishers looking to drive more traffic from their Facebook Pages to their Websites.” Back in 2023-2024, he documented how he grew his FB page from $0 to ~$300K revenue in just 15 months. He wasn’t doing anything with content monetization, as it as all primarily to send traffic back to his site (and make money with running display ads on his site).

Publisher In A Box, has a business where they manage large FB pages for companies, and have written extensively on growing FB accounts. Lizzy actually recommended to me to join their newsletter, which I did, and recommend anyone else to if you haven’t yet.

Andy from HikeYourLikes.com has a lot of excellent and free information about FB pages and monetization. He has a free PDF that is pretty solid in getting someone started too.

Paid Courses/Products About Growing, Monetizing And/Or Sending Traffic From A Facebook Page To Your Site
I haven’t taken any of the below courses, but if I have the money, I plan to go through all of them over the next couple of weeks to see what I can learn to grow my page(s).
Introverted Entrepreneur has a solid course, according to the reviews, that teaches you how to get likes/followers for very, very cheap (like 1 cent per follower).
While his Facebook course is pretty expensive, you can get his all access pass (to all of his products) at a lower cost for about a month - All Access Pass - I’ll probably be starting with this course to see what he has to offer.
Andy from Hike Your Likes offers two courses, though his are pretty expensive:
Stupid Simple SEO, a paid community run by Mike, has a lot of courses about blogging, but some of it is Mike’s in-depth training on getting traffic from Facebook. He runs his membership semi annually, so if you want to join it, you have to get on his email list and what for him to open his membership doors.
There are obviously a lot of other people and sites that have done stuff with Facebook pages, but these are just a few that I’ve been compiling in my tabs. And now that I can delete them all… Oh, one more thing to talk about:
Facebook Page Schedulers To Use:
I’ve already mentioned a few of these, but just to quickly jot them down:
Hasib Alic recommends Strevio.com
Andy from hikeyourlikes recommends PostPlanner.com
@ohnoo_not_her (Lizzy) uses Metricool.com
I think Introverted Entreprenuer uses n8n.io (need to confirm this).
Niche Site Lady built her own tool and so recommends https://niche.sh/
Competitor Analysis
Most of the above tools come with some form of competitor analysis, but if they don’t, most people use Apify to find what is doing well for the competitors - 📝 Facebook Posts Scraper · Apify
And that’s about it for links. Cleared up my tabs pretty nicely. I can see all the tabs I have open now and don’t have to scroll one way or the other, hehe.
That’s it for this round up - if I find anything else or if anyone wants me to add to add anything drop it below, and I’ll update this as I start working through everything.
Here’s to 2026 - a year of experiments and fun!
