What Are You Hoping To Accomplish in 2026?

A new year comes around, and with it new goals and resolutions.

Everyone’s goals are going to be different - depending on where you are or where you’ve come, you may just be trying to grow one site, or you may be trying to grow three.

For me, this year is a lot about diversifying - diversifying my traffic to my niche sites, as well as diversify the businesses I’m trying to grow.

I don’t normally do much with New Year’s resolutions, but I thought I’d detail quickly just a few of the things I’m looking to shoot for in 2026 (and hoping to document as much as I can here on the forum):

Making Money and Growing A Facebook Page

For those of you who don’t know, I’m documenting my growth of one of my FB pages, to see if I can bring more traffic and sales from it (as well as make some $$$ with their content monetization. Hoping to get a good 20-50K+ pageviews a month from this strategy within 6-12 months.

(Part 1 will be dropping later this week).

Continue Growing My Pinterest Accounts (Shooting for 4M clicks this year!)

In 2025, I got over 2 million clicks from Pinterest to the sites that I’m currently running. Gonna document more of what we’re doing in the Pinterest world, but suffice it to say, we laid a solid foundation for two new sites in 2025 that we’re hoping to double or even triple their traffic from Pinterest alone in 2026.

Starting A Pinterest Management Agency

Something new and exciting that my team and I are starting is Pinterest management for new clients. I’m planning to take a few clients on to see if I actually like it, but the plan is to take on 20-50 (maybe 100) clients this year if we can find how to scale up that quickly (need to find 100 clients first, haha). I think I’m partially excited about this because this management, while a little more time consuming, has a way higher profit outcome than niche sites do. So it will be interesting to see where this goes (and/or if I even like it).

You can find our site that we’re slowly building out here:

Continue building out a Pinterest SAAS (Scheduler, Keyword Tool, Better Analytics(?))

I’ve been helping a dev/business partner build out an all-in-one Pinterest creation tool and we’re hoping to (re)launch it this year - part of the plan is to use the $$$ from the agency we’re creating to help cover the costs of the SAAS (normal expenses, running ads, etc). We’re still finalizing how we want to relaunch it, but if anyone wants to try it and/or give us feedback, you can check it out below:

More Documentation Of What I’ve Done And Am Doing

Last but not least, I’m hoping to share more what I’m doing behind the scenes on a lot of my sites, since, well, there is a lot that I do or try/experiment with that I don’t really share about.

Like how I’m very close to owning the large online group about decluttering (can’t wait to put that on my resume, hehe):

Not sure where or how I’m going to be sharing more of what I’m doing (either on YT, here or a blog/email newsletter), but I’m sure most of you will know if/when I do that.

What about you guys? What are you looking to accomplish in 2026? It doesn’t have to be large - even if you’re just planning to write 1 blog post a week, that’s accomplishment enough to share down below.

Drop what you are hoping to accomplish below, and let’s make 2026 the year!

Wow, some great goals there Andy! Looking forward to reading what you have time to share here in the DMC.

Pinner Creations looks really good  Best of luck with that.

I’m not big on resolutions mainly because I usually go too ambitious. Every year I proclaim to the wife : “this is the year I go full-time online“ … so that is definitely my first goal :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: To break free of the J.O.B. that enslaves me.

Apart from maybe a year pre-HCU when my website was riding high, I do feel I’m closer than ever now too. It’s a goal I know I can achieve because I’ve done it before. Many years ago, sure but I know it’s doable. Yes, things have changed a lot in IM but many core principles remain … and black-hat is back, with the help of AI … mwah ha ha ha!

Another goal of mine is to become a SEO Neo expert and possibly look at re-selling services via this workflow. Link building / content creation / PBNs / local SEO.

On the local thing. Assuming Neo keeps working as well as it does for GBP, I’m planning to establish proof of concept (rank some local entities and start generating leads) and then move into rank and rent for local businesses.

If that goes well, I want to set up a local SEO agency, focused initially in my home town but no reason why I couldn’t spread out into other jurisdictions there. I feel this will be relatively easy to do.

If I can rank for ‘emergency plumber [TOWN]’ (for example) and generate valuable leads like that, I’ve already proven to local businesses that I know me onions and the ‘sell’ should be dead easy! I don’t need too many local clients to be able to give up the day job.

… and always in the back of my mind is my ex-WA website, which does have potential. I’m working with Diane on that and she is bringing her valuable experience to the table there. I think this is something I’ll be able to get to when I’m full-time online (must use all that excellent PLR content I bought, at the very least!)

Lastly, how could I forget the Digital Matrix Cafe. I want to help grow our little corner of the IM world into something we can be proud of, genuinely helping others achieve their dreams

A peaceful and prosperous 2026 to you all …

Oh, so many ideas, so little time!

Currently, I am working with Lizzy on her monetized Facebook page, which is growing (and earning!) on a daily basis, with over 3000 new followers in the last 28 days. It takes some time to create and schedule 24 posts per day, but it’s enjoyable!

Previously, I was also working on Lizzy’s Etsy shop, but that is temporarily on the back burner, as I concentrate on Facebook. My own Etsy shop has somewhat stalled, having achieved 439 sales in its first year. I need to refocus on it and decide which direction to take it in.

As Rohan mentioned, I am helping out with the social media accounts for his website (Pinterest and Bluesky), but it really needs new blog content to build up momentum and give me new material to work with!

I have my own website, which has very little content, but it does have Pinterest and Facebook accounts, so that’s something else to work on.

I continue to publish stories and poems on Medium and Vocal, which I find more relaxing than actual work!

And last but certainly not least is Digital Matrix Cafe. I am always happy to answer questions. Drop me a private message if you wish, even just to say “hello, long time no see!”

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2026!
