In the last post we looked at the physical structure of your review.
Now, let’s talk quickly about what you might want to try promoting first.
A lot of my reviews are in the health niche, mostly supplements.
Why?
Well, it’s accessible, the barrier to entry is low, you learn fast and the affiliate commissions can be substantial!
For testing parasite SEO, that combination matters more than you might think.
Many supplement products on Clickbank, for example, will pay you $100+ per sale. You don’t need too many of those to come through before you’re making half-decent money ![]()
Health networks are easy to get started with
One of the biggest problems beginners run into is friction before they even publish.
Applications. Rejections. Compliance hoops. Long approval waits. By the time you’re accepted, your enthusiasm for the project can falter.
Health networks tend to be simpler. You sign up, browse offers, and you can usually start testing quickly. No brand deals. No back and forth. No need to prove you already have traffic.
That low barrier makes it easier to focus on the part that actually matters, which is publishing and observing.
Commissions are large enough to feel real
As I mentioned above, another reason health works well is the commission structure.
You’re not chasing pennies. A single conversion can be meaningful and when you find one that converts, you can focus efforts.
Even small results register. That feedback reinforces what worked and what didn’t in a way that allows you to more efficiently mine a particular niche.
You don’t need volume to see whether your page is doing its job. A handful of conversion signals can be enough.
This makes it a better learning environment
Low friction and decent payouts create a useful environment.
You can test structure, intent, and copy without needing hundreds of clicks to validate anything. You can make adjustments and see whether behaviour changes.
It’s also a great way to learn how SEO really works because you start closely observing the SERPs. You become more adept at organically assessing the competition on Google page 1 before deciding if it’s a product worth going after.
Health niches can give you clearer responses, even when the answer is “this didn’t work.”
Review-style content fits naturally
Most health offers are built to be reviewed.
People expect comparisons. They expect pros and cons and they also expect a little caution.
A parasite page on an established platform like Reddit can fit into the conversation seamlessly, naturally guiding the reader to your offer.
You’re not chasing demand. You’re stepping into the existing conversation and answering it with genuinely useful content.
That helps to make the content feel natural, which benefits both users and rankings.
This is about momentum, not commitment
I’m not saying health is the only niche worth touching.
I’m saying it’s a good place to start if you want momentum.
Low barriers. Clear intent. Commissions that make testing feel worthwhile. All of that helps you stay engaged long enough to actually learn the system.
It’s certainly a great feeling waking up in the morning to find a $200 commission in the inbox. That spurs you on to keep up the pace ![]()
Once the skill is there, you can apply it elsewhere. The world is your oyster.
What I’ll cover next
In the next post, I’ll break down how I choose specific products to test with parasite SEO and what I deliberately avoid.
Some offers look tempting but create more problems than they solve.
Filtering those out early saves a lot of wasted effort.
Questions? Opinions? Feedback? Hit reply and let me know …
-Cheers! Rohan
